The Tides Beach Club

For over 100 years, our property has been hosting visitors looking for a memorable experience. What began in 1899 as "New Belvedere" and continued almost half of its' existence as "The Allen's by the Sea," finally became The Tides Beach Club in 2011. Many locals just refer to us as, the "Grand Yellow Lady of Goose Rocks Beach." Guests such as Theodore Roosevelt and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle added a flair to it that is not found at just any inn!

Today you will find 21 contemporary rooms to rest and relax in when you aren't out discovering Maine's coast and countryside. Equipped with either a queen or king bed, not all have water views directly but all are decorated in a crisp, coastal style. Our two ocean view suites were fashioned by interior designer Jonathan Adler but all of the rooms are as appealing to the eye .

If you want to go kayaking, SUP, or bicycling we've teamed up with the best local companies to do this with. How about a forest bathing session? Just ask us! Our guests also have access to Hidden Pond for spa, swim and fitness activities.
