Spring has arrived at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club on Cape Cod, and we invite families to celebrate the opening of our Nicklaus Design golf course, tennis courts, and Flyer for Hire bike fleet. Our vacation promotions are sure to put some spring in your step. Stay for two nights between April 8th – 24th, and receive 15% off.

Families will enjoy plush, renovated accommodations at The Mansion at Ocean Edge, adjacent to our historic Victorian-style Nickerson Mansion, or one-bedroom villas at The Villages at Ocean Edge Resort, which feature kitchenettes, washer/dryers and separate bedroom and living areas complete with pullout sleep sofas.

The warm sun is back, which means it is time to shift gears. What better way than cruising around Brewster on our bike fleet? Shiny and sharp, these brand-new bikes are built for any kind of speed. Cover our resort's legendary 429 acres, as well as the historic Cape Cod Bike & Rail Trail, that crisscrosses our property and carries you from one quaint stop to another. Check out our favorite itinerary to the Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans, or pedal straight to the infamous Brewster General Store for great fudge and fun. Kids out of practice will love our famous Golden Bear golf clinics, family golf sessions, and tennis clinics. The outdoor fun continues with sand volleyball and ultimate frisbee. Family programming this year includes Project Runway & Superheroes, where kids design and show off their own fashion or cape while they are announced over a microphone. As always, our two indoor pools will be ready for fun with pool parties, noodle water polo, and loads of daily activities. Other features include a Game Room open daily with Xbox Kinect, family karaoke nights, and family-friendly movies.

For parents looking to have a little fun of their own, there is much to choose from. Treat those taste buds at Wine Down Wednesday or our Wine & Chocolate Tasting. Head to the golf range for our Callaway Complimentary Fitting & Demo Day and our Golf Range Mixer with complimentary golf instruction. Swing by our tennis courts for some round robin or sharpen that tennis game at our tennis clinics. Adults will love our daily fitness classes including yoga, water aerobics, spinning and adults only swim times.

After success last year, we are bringing back A Taste of Cape Cod Cooking Demonstration, an evening of entertainment fit for the whole family. Executive Chef Phil Flath will present food samples that reflect traditional Cape Cod flavors and cater to children’s tastes. These dishes are sure to get everyone excited for summer.

Our extraordinary breakfast buffet will be offered each morning at Ocean Terrace. Lunch and dinner will be served at cozy Bayzo’s Pub with a special kid’s buffet and daily dinner specials for Mom and Dad. Linx Tavern will be open daily serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Take time to poke around the quaint town of Brewster.  Don’t miss the fun at The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History just down the road where the museum has put together their own itinerary of fun for school vacation week. Or poke around the Brewster Bookstore, our little gem here in town, with a terrific kids, teen and local section.
