The Common Man Inn & Restaurant, formerly known as the Monadnock Mills, was a textile mill that produced linen products such as sheets, blankets and fine silk clothing labels. In June of 2008 renovations began.  Our interest was both to preserve some of the Mill’s history and to create a new use for an old building so as to avoid a commercial development. We began renovation immediately and opened our doors a year later, on June 5th, 2009, as home of the new Common Man Inn & Restaurant.  Read more of the history of The Common Man Inn & Restaurant here.
