Enjoy a lakeside stay at Purity Spring Resort and join a guided tour of its NH Audobon Hoyt Wildlife Sanctuary and resort trails with a Tin Mountain Conservation Center guide. As writer Bart Beeson described for Everett Potter's Travel Report, your tour will feature "local flora and fauna, geological features such as eskers formed during the last ice age, and the reminders of previous inhabitants – old foundations, hand-dug wells and an old graveyard. While the trails make for a great walk in the woods (and cross-country skiing in the winter), a guided tour with someone familiar with the history and the land made it that much more memorable, especially for history and nature buffs."
Begin your morning at Traditions Cafe with fresh coffee, espresso drinks and the best breakfast sandwiches to accompany views of Purity Lake. You’ll also want to take advantage of the variety of activities and amenities available to resort guests and discover your new vacation getaway tradition. The Tin Mountain Conservation Center guided tour begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday and participants will meet at The Mill building before then before heading out for the guided walking tour. Proper footwear for walking uneven moderate natural trails/terrain recommended.
