Located in picturesque Jackson, NH, The Inn at Whitney’s Farm has been a beloved destination for families and couples since the 1940s. Nestled on 12 acres of beautiful grounds at the base of Black Mountain Ski Resort, our cottages and two-room suites are ideal for families seeking a perfect getaway in Jackson, NH. For couples, our inn guestrooms provide a romantic setting.

Our adjoining pub offers everything you need for a memorable family vacation or a relaxing weekend retreat. Additionally, we host 40-50 weddings per year, complete with onsite catering and wedding coordination, ensuring your special day is perfect. Come and create lasting memories at The Inn at Whitney’s Farm!

Shovel Handle Pub
The Shovel Handle Pub is a four-level, post and beam barn that was part of the original Moody Farm and was built in 1842. A combination of twinkle lit beams, artwork, and decorations celebrating our historic past, provide a beautiful backdrop for your dining experience or wedding. Enjoy upscale American pub cuisine provided by Chef Keith.  The combination of ambiance, great food, and our friendly staff is like no other in the Mt. Washington Valley! 
 
Open from 5-10pm Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Live music nightly from 6pm-9pm.

An Inn for All Seasons!

The Inn at Whitney’s Farm is nestled in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest, offering a plethora of outdoor activities year-round. Guests can enjoy amenities such as an outdoor pool, trout pond fishing, kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, and yard games including cornhole, horseshoes, a chess set, and shuffleboard. Each evening, gather around our nightly campfire and enjoy marshmallows.

Spring, Summer, and Fall bring opportunities for hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, tubing, bird watching, swimming, rock climbing, and horseback riding.

Winter transforms the area into a snowy paradise, with Black Mountain, Attitash, Wildcat, and Cranmore ski resorts just ten minutes away. Jackson Ski Touring offers the best cross-country skiing in the East, and snowmobiling, sleigh rides, ice skating, and snowshoeing are also nearby. Come and experience all that our outdoor playground has to offer!
