Take a Hike with Heidi

Our spring Foodie Hiking Adventures have been such a success, we have decided to plan one for the fall! It is the perfect combination of what Manor guests enjoy most - mountain views with early signs of fall color with a unique culinary experience.  We have learned that indulgence is even better when you have earned it!!

So Heidi, our General Manager, is going to take you on one of her favorite hikes, Mt. Willard.  Scroll down to watch a video of this hike! This is a 3.2 mile roundtrip with breathtaking views of Crawford Notch (pictured above) from the summit making your adventure worth the effort.  Take a minute to watch a video of Heidi hiking this trail with Sophie.  The trail is tree-lined until you reach the summit when you suddenly come to an open view as far as the eye can see!

Tuesday, September 6 - Arrival Day

• Dinner on your own in the Wild Rose Restaurant from our regular menu

Wednesday, September 7 - Day of Fun!!!

• Breakfast with Heidi and your fellow hikers
• Everyone is off in your own vehicles to the Mt. Willard trailhead in Crawford Notch - a 30 mile drive from the Manor.  Lunch at the summit with your Manor-made box lunch while enjoying the breathtaking views.
• Return to the Manor to relax before the Cocktail Party in the Library Martini Lounge.  The Manor pool and hot tub will be open and may be just what you need to get ready for your Foodie evening.
• Michael will be offering his "Michael's Martini Magic" mixology demo to start off the evening followed by complimentary hors d'oeuvres passed by our Culinary Staff.
• Everyone will be seated together for dinner from our regular menu which will include some culinary surprises from our Chef and his culinary team.

Thursday, September 8 - Departure Day

• Breakfast on your own from our regular menu
