The Lake Estate on Winnisquam is New Hampshire’s preeminent new 114-room modern, independent luxury resort featuring a 5,000 sq. ft world-class spa, nestled in the heart of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region in Tilton, NH, a quintessential New England small town on Lake Winnisquam.  Modeled after a grand private estate and inspired by New Hampshire’s Grand Hotels built during the late 19th- and early 20th-centuries, The Lake Estate on Winnisquam is situated on 36 acres with 3,400 linear feet of private, natural shoreline along Lake Winnisquam seamlessly blending understated elegance, luxurious comfort and state of the art-technology throughout the property with genuine and gracious hospitality and exceptional culinary experiences.

 

Dining

The Lake Estate on Winnisquam brings new, elevated gastronomic experiences to the Lakes Region with distinct dining options.

  • The Dining Room - The Lake Estate on Winnisqaum Signature Restaurant.  Modeled after a formal dining room of private lake estate, The Dining Room is an elegant space with rich wood accents, stylish finishes, a grand fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of lake, The Great Lawn and the Belknap and Ossipee mountains beyond.  Serving upscale farm-to-table cuisine, the menu changes seasonally tapping into the many regional farms for the freshest meats & poultry, fish, produce and specialty items. Serving breakfast and dinner, daily. Seats 96.
  • The Bar - Where craft meets an intimate and sophisticated ambiance. The Bar revives the glory days of hotel bars with warm wood-paneled walls, ceiling and floor and plush fabrics. The main feature is a dramatic 55-ft long custom-made granite bar with 22 seats showcasing majestic views of The Great Lawn, Lake Winnisquam and the mountains. In addition, there is a grand fieldstone fireplace and high-top and low-top tables, banquette seating and a seasonal expansive deck with exterior seating and stunning views. Features craft cocktails and wines, as well as locally inspired bar fare. Serving lunch and causal dinner, daily. Seats 77.
  • The Folly Grille - A seasonal elegant yet casual poolside grill located adjacent to the pool. Featuring lighter fare and an alfresco ambiance.  Serving lunch only, daily. Seats 30.  Available only to guests of The Lake Estate.
  • The Wine Cellar -  A private dining room amidst warm wood accents, elegant lighting and racks of wines, The Wine Cellar is a charming private dining venue for seating up to 16. Available by advanced reservation only. The Lake Estate on Winnisquam’s extensive wine collection predominantly features a vast array of American wines.  

The Lake Estate on Winnisquam will also be offering seasonal dinner series and special holiday menus throughout the year.

Rooms

Drawing inspiration from the fresh, natural surroundings of the estate, the 96 oversized, custom-designed, luxurious guest rooms and 18 suites aglow in abundant natural light, exude an elevated New England-style with hues of tranquil blues, greens, and cream echoing the serenity of the lake. More than 70% of the guest rooms have direct views of the lake and the remaining views of the lush woodlands, and many of the guest rooms offer either private balconies or patios. All suites feature fireplaces and most offer balconies or patios with views of the lake.  All guest rooms and suites are equipped with state-of-the art technology.

The Spa at The Lake Estate
The Spa, a luxurious world-class 5,000 sq. ft. full-service spa, offers resort guests and day spa visitors a custom-curated spa menu -- nature-inspired services of massages, facials, body treatments and wellness therapies with minerals and botanicals from the local landscape. The nourishing freshness and serenity of the lake sets the tone and defines the guests’ journey. The Spa offers 8 treatment rooms of which two are couples treatment rooms, men’s and women’s locker rooms each with dry saunas, two large relaxation lounges with a double-sided fireplace overlooking the orchard, an additional 1,500 sq. ft. terrace with a year-round outdoor heated mineral spa and meditation garden, and dedicated spa fire pit.   Curated signature massage/aromatherapy oils and lotions and scrubs are offered that reflect the elements of the property – water, earth, air and spirit, as well as incorporating pine and apple extracts.
