Property Overview

Everyone leaves as a friend at the intimate, quaint bed and breakfast known as the Brass Lantern Inn in Stowe, Vermont. Our B&B is set in a beautiful, historic brick farmhouse with attached carriage house. Circa 1810, our property maintains many of the original elements like exposed mortise and tenon, wood columns and beams, wide plank pine floors, and unique brickwork. With only 9 lodging rooms, we are known for giving plenty of individual attention, providing the best, "home away from home" experience. Whether your interests include adventurous outdoor pursuits or simply a relaxing retreat in the culinary center of Vermont, we can provide you with a positively memorable experience for mountain getaways and vacations. Dining

Breakfast at the Brass Lantern Inn is a full, three course event served in our cheerful dining room from 8 - 9:30 a.m. Enjoy a delicious hot breakfast at private tables while enjoying the lovely view of Mt. Mansfield. Start your day with our complimentary breakfast of assorted juices, fresh fruit, berry parfaits, home-baked items, jams, main entree, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Our delicious baked goods are fresh out of the oven each morning. We are a member of the Vermont Fresh Network - a collection of food service providers that work closely with local farmers, distributors and vendors to bring you your breakfast from local sources as much as possible. Savor select offerings such as seasonally flavored waffles and pancakes, fresh breakfast BLT sandwiches on locally produced bread, cobblers, breakfast casseroles, and our breakfast grilled cheese with Cabot cheddar, locally grown apples and jam with a seasonal salad (just a sampling!)

Rooms

The Inn is graced with nine charming and well appointed guestrooms (each with a private ensuite bath) which are appropriately named after the expansive mountains and peaks of the Green Mountain Range in Vermont. Each room showcases gleaming antique wide plank floors and are individually decorated with carefully selected antique furnishings, country quilts, and accessories. All rooms are non-smoking, as is the entire inn. Individual heat and air conditioning are provided seasonally. Your room rate includes a Vermont Fresh breakfast each morning of your stay.
