If you’re a fan of craft brews, head to the 40-room Norwich Inn and experience Vermont’s tastiest beverages. The inn has an on-site brewery that’s perfect for a weekend getaway or an even longer stay. The bed and breakfast has intimate brewery tours on Thursdays (check-in Wednesday, check-out Friday) that are limited to six participants.

The hotel’s Vermont Brewery and Spirits package offers two nights lodging and a $25 dining credit per room that’s good for food and beverages during your stay. Guests receive a Welcome Beer Flight upon arrival at Jasper Murdock’s Alehouse and each participant gets a 22-ounce take-home Bomber of their choice. Each room also receives a block of signature Whistling Pig Ale cheddar cheese.

The package includes an informative and fun tour that visits Cabot Cheese and Vermont Spirits Distillery in nearby Quechee. The tour continues through several breweries, distilleries and stores in the area before returning to the inn for a 5 p.m. pint.

Trapp Family Lodge (Stowe)

At the Trapp Family Lodge outside of Stowe, the hills are alive with adventure for families and groups of all ages. The lodge, inspired by “The Sound of Music,” offers a unique Bed, Bike and Brew experience package for adults in June through October that’s only as demanding as you make it.
