Connecticut Beaches For Social Distancing

When it comes to sparkling sandy beaches, Connecticut is often overlooked as a top destination in New England. Truth be told, there are some sweet beaches along the coastline from Greenwich to Stonington that aren’t picked to the nines. But it doesn’t stop there. The Nutmeg State even has an inland gem in a thick pine forest near Twin Lakes with lots of scenery, serenity and sand.

Situated between two megapolises - Boston and New York City, you’d expect Connecticut’s beaches to be crowded. Nevertheless, we uncovered a few spots where you can still get a little social distance and privacy, wonderful food, plenty of relaxation and fun in the sun, and a great tan.
