Christmas in Newport
2024 marks the 54th celebration of Christmas in Newport! This city-wide celebration fosters the historic traditions of the holiday season. It originally began as a two-week festival that celebrated the non-commercial traditions of the holiday season, and now, it boasts multiple activities for nearly each day of December, including a holiday bazaar, celebrations at the Newport Mansions, jazz brunches, showings of The Nutcracker, a Festival of Lights, and more. The Annual Newport Illuminated Boat Parade, a dazzling display of nautical holiday spirit from decorated vessels on the Newport Harbor, is also back for another year—and is truly a sight to behold!
